I think if you paired him up with Blood Phantasm, you'd be causing a tonne of ignition damage. He can also go well with ignition builds, since his Agony ability with the ignition upgrade does a really hefty amount of burn damage (30+ burn damage every turn). Shade's shadow cloud can take off 40% of enemy HP right off, and Reaper can then use his special to bring the enemy down to near death (the more HP enemy is missing, the more damage they receive), at the same time as healing your whole team. I find him to be a good partner in crime with Shade. I'd say he's pretty flexible as he can deal all 3 damage types. Sorry if this is more of a late game build but its the only one I used with reaper in my playthrough, hope it gives you ideas though. One shotting goons with 200-300+ dmg with the basic attack*the one that gave wrath* was fun. Its major annoyance and weakness was that buff removal slows it down. It actually worked on the last floor in GaW and I would use it against the new robot enemy on that floor whenever my stress comp would have trouble. This worked because the I took the lich talent that resets spell cooldown so I could summon a shade and repeat till out of mana or comfortable, the lich would also get a lot of block and ward for doing this because of broken orb giving 1 block and ward per ally death. I would use finger of death + reaper ult to insta gib problem characters *i had a ring that gave 100 wrath on battle start*, then the following turns spam the spell that summons a shade and sacrifice the shade with the lich to buff the reaper through cannibal jaw (it gives +24dmg and 24dread each time an ally dies). Lich had broken orb and its special item(that item didn't really matter) and the reaper had broken jaw and boiling blood. On my playthrough I had a fun build with just a lich and reaper.
